Inquiry into the activities of Mr Jean-Philippe Wispelaere

The Inspector-General of Intelligence and Security, Mr Bill Blick, has
been asked by the Australian Government to undertake an inquiry into the
activities of Mr Jean-Philippe Wispelaere, an Australian national who
has been charged in the United States with espionage offences. Mr Blick
will submit his report to the Prime Minister as soon as possible. He
will not be answering any questions about the inquiry.
