If you think you have a complaint that should be investigated by the IGIS, you may either telephone to discuss your concerns, or put your complaint in writing. There are no fees or charges to pay and no formal procedures to follow in lodging a complaint, although you will normally be expected to set your concerns out in writing, providing sufficient background information to help the IGIS decide what action to take.

Anyone wishing to lodge a complaint by e-mail is welcome to do so. We point out, however, that email is not a secure means of communication and if a complaint contains sensitive information it will normally be preferable to transmit it by ordinary mail.
