Legislative amendments to the IGIS Act in 2005 allowed IGIS to review the independence and integrity of ONA's assessment work. In 2006 the IGIS conducted an inspection and the report of his findings was sent to the Prime Minister, the Director-General of ONA and the Secretary of PMC on 15 December 2006.
